PSP: Woman dies two weeks after horse and buggy crash
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A woman died weeks after she was thrown from a horse and buggy, state troopers said Sunday.
The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on May 23 on Path Valley Road near Dry Run Road South in Fannett Township, State Police at Chambersburg said.
A motorcycle attempted to pass a horse and buggy along Path Valley Road when the bike struck the side of the horse and buggy.
The motorcycle rider and the driver and passenger of the horse and buggy were all thrown from their respective vehicles, troopers said.
All three were flown from the scene via air medical.
The passenger of the buggy, a 68-year-old Fannett Township woman, was pronounced dead Friday, two weeks to the day of the crash, by the Cumberland County Coroner's Office, troopers said.
