Following police chase, London man charged with impaired operation of stolen vehicle

A London man is facing charges after he was arrested in the downtown core driving a stolen vehicle on Wednesday morning.
A roughly 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday, a man was seen asleep at the wheel of a vehicle in the area of Patricia and Steele streets.
Police located the vehicle, and awoke the man, who then put the car in drive and fled northbound, stopping the car nearby and fleeing on foot.
The man was located in the 1000 block of Patricia Street.
Investigation revealed that the car had been reported as stolen.
