Court officials stated Tuttle was offered probation because she allegedly borrowed money to pay back the fire company, and it was confirmed that the company received its money. However, it was later learned that Tuttle stole the money she used to repay the funds by lying to an elderly couple and convincing them to give her a loan.
Tuttle got a minimum of six months in the Bradford County Correctional Facility to a maximum of 23 months, followed by five years of probation. She is also ordered to pay $77,400.00 in restitution.
