Thema brings Asian and Turkish dramas to Roku Channel
Thema, the Canal+ Group-owned content distributor, has partnered with US-based Roku to bring a selection of international drama series to audiences in the US, UK, Mexico and Canada through The Roku Channel. As part of the deal, eight Turkish and Korean drama series will be available in the US, catering primarily to Hispanic viewers. The Turkish lineup includes Asya, Gumus, La Dama Rebelde and Mi Ultimo Deseo. Meanwhile, the Korean series from KT Studio Genie include Unlock My Boss, Battle for Happiness, Summer Strike and Evilive. Some of these titles will also be accessible to viewers in Latin America, Canada and the UK. Additionally, four Canal+ Originals produced in Asia will be featured on The Roku Channel. Vietnamese dramas Hellbound Village and Scarlett Hill, along with Myanmar-produced titles Crying Forest and Toxic, will be available in the selected regions. The deal also includes the Indian series Dhawan Kharenge, produced by Indiacast. Centered on cricket, the show will be made available in Canada, the US and the UK. Thema launches Mezzo Live on Etisalat in UAE
The channel features a diverse range of content including live concerts, documentaries, exclusive events, festivals, ballet and jazz. Thema, a Canal+ company, has announced the launch of Mezzo Live on Etisalat, the telecommunications operator in the United Arab Emirates. The channel is now available as part of the 'Western Pack,' offering premium classical music, jazz and ballet programming to subscribers across the UAE. Mezzo Live brings viewers into the concert halls, delivering more than 300 hours of content annually, including two live and direct broadcasts per month. The channel provides an immersive experience, bringing the ambience of a concert hall directly into homes. The diverse programming on Mezzo Live includes live concerts, documentaries, exclusive events, festivals, ballet and jazz performances, catering to a broad audience of music and arts enthusiasts.
