Youngstown elementary school students spend ‘Fun Day' with first responders
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — For students in the Youngstown City School District, this is the last week of classroom instruction.
Monday was also 'Fun Day' at Paul C. Bunn Elementary School.
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade had the opportunity to meet with local first responders. They also had the chance to see equipment in the Youngstown Police Department Bomb Squad Truck and see a Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputy fly his drone overhead.
A fire engine and ambulance from the Public Safety Academy at Choffin Career and Technical Center were also on hand.
