He has had a quick shower and so the booze has been washed from Harry Kane's hair, but not the joy from his eyes.
We're in a room just off the players' area at the Allianz Arena and the glow he exudes is almost moving. For fully two hours he was out on the pitch, getting selfies with his family, getting soaked by steins of Paulaner as Bayern Munich's squad splashed beer over each other.
You saw a different Kane. A Kane letting himself go, a Kane diving headlong into feelings of triumph and relief. A Kane with a trophy in his hands, a medal round his neck. A Kane — after all these years — fulfilled.
