Winnebago County Sheriff warning residents over recent PayPal scams
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – A recent scam has popped up for some Winnebago County residents, and authorities are urging people to stay protected and be cautious.
The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office said that the PayPal-themed scams have been reported by residents as of late.

Emails not from @
Display names not matching the original email address
Any mentions of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency
Urgency, time limit
If you see these scams, block and report them, and make sure your loved ones are aware and protected.
