Columbus State Men's Basketball honored for Peach Belt Championship season
COLUMBUS (WRBL) – Inside the President's Club at the Lumpkin Center, the Columbus State Men's Basketball team celebrated one of the best seasons in program history Thursday night. The team received their Peach Belt Regular Season Championship rings as well as other individual accolades.
The 2024-25 season saw the Cougars win the Peach Belt Regular Season with a 25-3 overall record, going 16-2 in Peach Belt play. The team was also ranked as high as 6th in Division II, a program record. Head Coach Robert Moore was named the Herbert Greene Peach Belt Coach of the Year, while Jarrett Adderton was named the Player of the Year for the conference. Jehloni James was named to the All-PBC First Team, while Wisdom Uboh was named to the All-PBC Third Team.
