Hilarious adventure set in 1745 to be performed at theatre in Darlington
The Astonishing Adventures of Kitty and Peg will be performed at the Darlington's Hullabaloo.
This 'fast-paced, cheeky period backstage farce' will be presented at 8pm on Saturday March 29.
The show is set in 1745 at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and features English actress Kitty Clive and Irish actress Peg Woffington.
When they are unexpectedly sacked, they resort to outrageous schemes, including spreading fake news and staging fights.

The plot thickens as they accidentally poison the cross-dressing puppeteer Charlotte 'Mr Brown' Charke.
Will they win back their jobs or face execution?
The performance promises plenty of laughs and even a bit of women wrestling.

Tickets are available from the venue's box office or their official website.
Additionally, there is a multi-buy offer available for those looking to enjoy more shows at The Hullabaloo.
