This week has been a big one for product recalls, in particular for children's items. Parents are being urged to check if they have purchased a recalled children's vitamin, which does not have the required warning labels. Other items include a beanbag cover from Target, and wooden baby toys from eBay are also causing some concern. If you have purchased any of these items, you will be entitled to a refund or a method to fix the issue. Aussies should check their homes for the following items. The multivitamin was available to purchase at Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths, Amazon and more. The TGA says, "The product does not include the required label warnings alerting consumers to the presence of sulphites and sugars, and that they should consult a health professional if they have any concerns." They add, "Individuals with allergies to sulphites could experience symptoms ranging from mild (such as hives and stomach upset) to severe (such as difficulty breathing, wheezing, or in rare cases anaphylaxis). Sugar content in the product may also be unsuitable for children with conditions like diabetes, obesity, or dietary restrictions." The batches being recalled are: Batch number: 36112, expiry date: December 2025 Batch number: 36633, expiry date: February 2026 If you have one of the above batches, do not use the product. Innovations Direct Pty Ltd has issued a recall on their Rechargeable Dehumidifier (Set of 2) with the SKU: RDEHM and PO No. IN0064449, as the dehumidifier may overheat and short circuit. Fantastic Furniture has issued a product recall for the Dimi dining chair in Black (Dimi Chair 1 STR Black; Dimi Chair 1 STR MK2 Black), which was sold between 1 June 2019 and 9 May 2025, and the Dimi dining chair in White (Dimi Chair 1 STR White; Dimi Chair 1 STR MK2 White), which was sold between 1 June 2019 and 25 May 2025. The reason for the recall is due to a manufacturing defect that may cause the legs to break, which creates a risk of injury. Incidents have occurred. The product was sold nationally in stores and online from 1 August 2024 - 31 December 2024.
