Hailey Bieber's Rhode to Launch in Sephora

Rhode, the minimalist skincare brand founded by model and influencer Hailey Bieber, is expanding into brick-and-mortar locations through a partnership with Sephora, the beauty retailer confirmed Tuesday. The brand, best known for its cult-favourite Peptide Lip Treatments and Glazing Milk toner, will arrive in Sephora stores across the US and Canada this autumn. A UK launch is expected in late 2025. Until now, Rhode has operated exclusively as a direct-to-consumer label, leveraging Bieber's celebrity status and social media influence to build a loyal Gen-Z customer base. 'From day one, it's been our dream to bring efficacious, intentional skincare and beauty essentials to as many people as possible,' read a caption on Rhode's Instagram announcing the move. The shift into physical retail comes amid speculation around the company's next phase of growth. In April, Reuters reported that Bieber had engaged JPMorgan Chase and Moelis & Company to explore a sale of the business, targeting a valuation of approximately $1 billion. A presence in Sephora could strengthen Rhode's position as an acquisition target. Learn more: Can Off-White Mogul Davide De Giglio Pull Off Another Big Exit? Justin Bieber teases ‘joint' venture with Hailey Bieber inspired by Rhode's phone lip case

Justin Bieber has revealed a new product concept — a phone case designed to hold a joint — and credits his wife Hailey Bieber as the inspiration. The idea stems from Hailey's viral Rhode Lip Case, which launched in February 2024 and features a slot for lip products. Bieber showcased the mock-up on Instagram on May 13, 2025, describing it as a design for 'on-the-go cravings.' His prototype resembles the Rhode model but includes a vertical insert intended for a single joint. The concept comes amid a wider rollout of his fashion brand, SKYLRK, which he has been teasing with images of neon apparel, sandals, and behind-the-scenes shots of the creative process. The singer acknowledged Hailey's role in the product's inception, writing, 'Turns out she has this tech patented so if I want to make this case I'll have to pay her a fee.' Hailey responded to the post with, 'I'll think about it!' The Rhode Lip Case became a breakout item after its launch, retailing for $38 and gaining popularity on social media. Hailey's version holds Rhode's Peptide Lip Treatments and other lip products. Alongside the case, Bieber shared further previews of SKYLRK, including product photography and mentions of Hailey's design input. In April, she posted about co-designing a bomber jacket for the brand, describing it as her 'favourite jacket of all time.' Photo: Instagram Bieber's new product tease follows recent public appearances and social media activity related to his cannabis use. On May 4, he shared a photo beside a bong, and he was previously seen smoking at Coachella. The couple, married since 2018, continues to work together creatively while navigating public scrutiny. Their collaboration on SKYLRK and shared aesthetic direction suggest further ventures may emerge from their partnership.
