Hamlet woman charged with larceny from Lowe's
A 53-year-old Richmond County woman was charged with felony larceny and felony conspiracy stemming from July 5, 2024.
Angela Diane Evans was indicted Feb. 10 for stealing 17 boxes of Pergo flooring, two cordless Bluetooth speakers, a 3,000-lumen work light and an indoor/outdoor fan from Lowe's Hardware.
Evans, who has an address in Hamlet, allegedly conspired in the illegal activity with Sir Hamp Bell and Kanisha McBryde, according to eCourts.
An arrest warrant was issued Aug. 14, 2024, but Evans wasn't arrested until Feb. 3. She was issued a $20,000 secured bond on Feb. 4. It was unclear if she had posted the bond, according to eCourts.
Evans is set for an administrative hearing in Lee County Superior Court on March 24.
