Sunni Endowment: Wednesday is the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah

The Sunni Endowment Office announced on Tuesday that tomorrow, Wednesday, will be the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah.
"Given the legally established sighting of the crescent moon of Dhu al-Hijjah, the Permanent Committee for Determining the Beginnings of the Hijri Months at the Sunni Endowment Office announces that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 28th, will be the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah for the Hijri year 1446," said the Office in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement added, "Thursday, June 5th, will be the Day of Arafah, and Friday, June 6th, will be the first day of Eid al-Adha."
