Road sign theft investigation in Perth East
Perth County OPP are looking for help in a road sign theft investigation in Perth East. On June 6, police launched the investigation after reports were made that road signs and posts at four spots in the county were missing. Signs were missing from Perth Road 150 at Perth Line 52, Perth Road 150 at Perth Line 49, Perth Road 144 at Perth Line 46, and Perth Road 140 at Perth Line 44. Anyone who has information on the thefts is asked to contact Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Crime Stoppers can also be reached at 1-888-222-8477, or tips can be sent online.

Cyclist dies from their injuries in Perth East crash
The owner of a mixed breed dog in French River had to be airlifted by ORNGE air ambulance July 14 after they were attacked by their own dog. (File) A 30-year-old has died from their injuries after a collision in Perth East. Ontario Provincial Police said the individual was riding their e-bike on Perth Line 42, north of Stratford, at around 10 p.m. on May 15. Investigators believe they then lost control of the e-bike and crashed. The rider was taken by air ambulance to a local trauma. In a media release Friday, OPP said they had since died from their injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Police looking for video after serious e-bike crash in Perth East

Officers were called to the collision involving an e-bike on Perth Line 42 on Thursday around 10 p.m. Investigators believe the operator lost control of the e-bike and crashed. The operator was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Anyone with more information is urged to contact police.
