'Dangerous' banned Pembrokeshire driver was over four times drink-drive limit
A DISQUALIFIED driver was over four times the drink-drive limit when he was driving dangerously in Pembrokeshire.
Peter Edgar, 39, of Chestnut Way in Milford Haven, appeared at court charged with four offences.
Edgar was driving a Vauxhall Combo van dangerously in Newgale on June 18.
When breathalysed, he recorded having 151 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Checks revealed Edgar was banned from driving at the time, meaning he was also driving without insurance.
He pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates Court on June 20 to dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, drink-driving, and driving without insurance.
The magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case, and it was sent on to Swansea Crown Court.
Edgar was remanded into custody, and will be sentenced on July 11.
