Annual Polar Plunge held in Petersburg
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Several people braved the cold as they ran into freezing water over the weekend to benefit Indiana Special Olympics.
Second positive case of CWD confirmed in Posey County
This weekend's Polar Plunge was held Saturday at Pride's Creek, with members of the Princeton Fire Department, Petersburg Fire Department and Indiana State Police dive team standing by to provide safety.
The annual event raises funds to benefit around 19,000 children and adults statewide who compete in Special Olympics, including more than 650 in the greater Evansville area.
