"I guess our goal as performers are to try and get you guys interested," Cena said, per Jeremy Lambert of Fightful. Cena's feud with The Rock remains one off the most high-profile rivalries in the history of professional wrestling, main eventing two WrestleManias and creating some of the biggest buzz in the industry. Meanwhile, Cena's rivalry with CM Punk featured some of the greatest matches in both wrestler's careers. This includes their incredible match at Money in the Bank 2011 where CM Punk left the stadium with the WWE Championship. Finally, Cena's feud with Orton dates back to when they were in Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE's old developmental system. Because of this, its hard to think of either Superstar without mentioning the other. Tatanka says, 'they're keeping their radar on them' as WWE watches his sons

Tatanka (Image via WWE) WWE has many stars today whose parents were also wrestlers. Names like Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair, and Cody Rhodes are examples of second-generation superstars. Now, it looks like WWE might add more young talents from wrestling families. One legend from the 1990s, Tatanka, believes his sons could be next. Tatanka has shared that both of his sons are showing great talent in wrestling. One of them is already a national champion, and WWE is paying attention. If things go well, they could one day be a Native American tag team in WWE, carrying on their father's legacy. WWE shows interest in Tatanka's sons Tatanka said that one of his sons is already a two-time national champion, even though he is still in ninth grade. He is seen as one of the best young amateur wrestlers in the country. Tatanka also said his other son is doing well, and both could become WWE Superstars in the future. He recently spoke on The Power Talk podcast: 'My son is a big, big elite wrestler. He's only in the ninth grade. He's a two-time national champion, meaning he's the best, one of the best in the entire United States. So big things are happening there.' WWF Legende Tatanka über seine Karriere und das moderne Wrestling | POWER TALK Interview He also said that WWE knows about them and has spoken to him about their future. 'So I have two sons, both young, that can be a Native American tag team at WWE. WWE has already talked to me about them.' 'WWE has already talked to me about them. They're very aware about them. They're keeping their radar on them.' This shows that WWE is already looking at new second-generation stars who can carry on the traditions of their families, just like others before them. John Cena talks about titles, and legends return Tatanka recently appeared at WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event in Florida. It was a special show where current WWE stars and legends came together. Big names like John Cena , CM Punk , and Seth Rollins were there. But fans also saw many legends like Leilani Kai, Bushwacker Luke, Mike Rotunda, Barry Windham, and Jimmy Hart . Jesse Ventura even returned to do commentary. At another event, Philadelphia Fan Expo, John Cena was asked which of his 17 world title wins was his favorite. Cena gave an emotional answer. 'It's gotta be this one. If everything lines up, this is the one I'm taking home with me to put on my mantle, so hopefully this one.' Tatanka vs. Crush: Raw - Lumberjack Match, June 6, 1994 As WWE looks back at its history and legends like Cena and Tatanka, it is also planning for the future. The sons of Tatanka might be part of that future. If they continue to grow and improve, fans could one day see them on WWE television, carrying their father's legacy and representing Native American culture in a big way. The sons of Tatanka have a bright future ahead. With WWE already watching them, fans might soon witness a powerful new tag team built on family and tradition. John Cena Disappoints Longtime Fans Yet Again

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. As John Cena makes his way through his final year as a WWE in-ring performer, a journey that started impressively in 2002, he recently shared some deep thoughts. These thoughts were about his past well-known characters and his own personal growth over two decades. Many WWE fans around the world clearly remember his early days in the company. He first captured attention with his Ruthless Aggression debut and then later transformed into the hugely popular, chain-wearing "Dr. of Thuganomics," who was the undisputed leader of The Chain Gang. Though these unique personas from his younger years created lasting and fond memories for a whole generation of wrestling fans, the current Undisputed WWE Champion has now clearly stated that those hoping to see that version of him return during his final months in WWE will be disappointed. He explained his reasons for this during a recent Q&A session at the Philadelphia Fan Expo. Cena began his answer by kindly recognizing the fan's strong support and connection to his past work in WWE. He then went into a detailed explanation of his current views on his career and personal life. "[The Chain Gang] is right next to my official Doctorate in Thuganomics, which is stashed in Parts Unknown," John Cena stated directly to the fan. "Something I did was etched in your memory, and it's obvious by the way you're dressed and the album you hold. It puts you in a period of reminiscing." MoreMore news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation He then shared a core belief that guides him about how people should approach life and personal change. "I believe we should never be the person that we were yesterday. You should always be curious and always seek growth." Cena even made a lighthearted and humble comparison between his younger self and who he is now at 48 years old. "The 48-year-old me would've got my ass kicked by the 26-year-old me." He pointed to very clear and significant changes in his own life outside of the wrestling ring to show this personal evolution. "I promised myself I would never wear a suit. All I do nowadays is wear a suit. I didn't know what love was. Now I have love and joy and peace in my life. I'm not the person I was at 26, and I'm fine with that." While he truly appreciates all the WWE fans who loved and supported his "Dr. of Thuganomics" character during that time, he confirmed that particular chapter of his career is closed for good. "I'm so grateful for that CD you hold in your hand and so grateful for people that rep the Chain Gang, I think that's dope." He finished his thoughts on the matter by looking forward and emphasizing his current state. "I've just moved forward in my life. I look back on that fondly, I don't regret it. I'm just in a different place. You won't see any of that stuff from me going forward, I think." More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.

John Cena Reveals His Top 3 Career Rivals

John Cena's farewell tour has opened the door for fans to attempt to microanalyze his career. Just like anything else, there's a newfound appreciation for the 48-year-old in the midst of his last run with the company, with his retirement date rapidly approaching. For years, his constant push and cringey material created a rift with the audience, but with hindsight, it's his consistency that kept the promotion afloat during a dark creative stretch. Although his "five moves of doom" mantra had some validity at one point, Cena did a masterful job increasing his work rate, which, paired with his iconic promo skills, dramatically improved his programs. But who are the undisputed WWE champions' top rivals? The "man who can't be seen" recently answered that question himself. John CenaGetty Images While speaking at the Philadelphia Fan Expo, Cena revealed his top three opponents. Advertisement "The ones over the years might have been The Rock, CM Punk, and I don't know, the third one," Cena said. I'll leave it up to the fans. Randy Orton. You know what, Randy Orton." Punk is unquestionably Cena's most engaging feud. The pair had undeniable chemistry, never had a subpar match, and could evoke "real" emotion with each other on the mic. The Rock was genuinely a stunning response, considering they only had two head-to-head bouts, and the second in particular was a massive dud. The hatred felt personal at first, but it became oversaturated and never really reached that final gear. The sheer volume of work with Orton makes that a satisfactory answer, but the consistent lack of quality has to be taken into consideration. For every memorable moment, there are about four duds. Randy Orton & John CenaGetty Images For me, AJ Styles is the most notable omission and should slide into The Rock's slot. Their 2016 SummerSlam and 2017 Royal Rumble scraps are iconic, and the angle of having the most prominent wrestling star on the planet against the alternative darling made for captivating television. Advertisement If you wanted to take Orton out, Edge or JBL seem to be the most viable alternatives, and both of them helped elevate Cena into another tier of superstardom. Cena's next showdown will come this week at Saturday Night's Main Event against R-Truth, a show with a decent card so far.
