Man in court charged over teenage boy's stabbing in York
A man has appeared in court after a 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a stabbing in York. Officers were called to Baker Street, in Clifton, at about 19:30 BST on Thursday, according to North Yorkshire Noble, 44, of Field View, York, was later charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public a hearing at York Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, Mr Noble was remanded in custody to appear at the city's crown court on 21 July.
Police said the teenager remained in hospital in a stable two people arrested in connection with the incident had been released on bail, while a further four would face no further action, a force spokesperson said.
