Book lovers invited to Pic-a-Book-Nic at Lodmoor Country Park
The Friends of Lodmoor Country Park are kicking off their summer series of free events with the return of the popular Pic-a-Book-Nic.
Families and book lovers are invited to gather near the children's play area and enjoy a relaxed day of stories and browsing books. The event runs from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, June 8.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic if the weather is fair and settle in for a day of community fun. Story time will be a highlight, alongside a book sale offering something for all ages. Organisers hope the event will attract both regulars and newcomers to the park.
All are welcome to this community celebration of reading and outdoor leisure.
