Soros' Audacy to Close Pineapple Podcast Distribution Business
Audacy, the radio station owner backed by billionaire George Soros, said Thursday it will close its Pineapple Street podcast studio, exiting the business of distributing shows for outside parties.
The decision will lead to an undisclosed number of job cuts. The company will continue to produce and distribute podcasts made in-house, like Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade and The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott, according to a statement.
