Vince Maristela, Xyriel Manabat share most shocking news they learned after 'PBB' exit
Vince Maristela and Xyriel Manabat missed a lot of important news about the Philippines and the world after staying for about two months inside the 'Pinoy Big Brother' house.
In an interview with GMA News Online, the former "PBB" housemates shared the most shocking news they learned upon their exit from Bahay ni Kuya.
For Vince, it was the death of Pope Francis.
'Since, sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, grabe din po talaga 'yung faith ko noong time. Mas lumakas,' Vince said.
When he heard the news for the first time, the Sparkle star remembered his mom, who is a religious person.
'Sobrang religious talaga siya. Pumupunta siya ng Rome para magdasal. So parang, para sa akin, ano lang din, parang nagulat ako. So parang, naging curious din ako, anong nangyari? Sinong papalit? Parang, ganyan po 'yung reaction ko,' he shared.
Meanwhile, for Xyriel, it was the deaths of veteran stars Pilita Corrales, Nora Aunor, and Ricky Davao that shocked her the most.
'Sobra 'kong nagulat doon sa mga nawalang artists. Like ang dami niya. Sobra akong nawindang. Parang parte ako ng pamilya nila, naiyak ako talaga,' Xyriel said.
According to the Kapamilya star, she immediately messaged Janine Gutierrez upon reading the news updates to check up on her.
'Ang dami niyang family members na nawala eh. At sobrang bigat sa akin 'nun,' she added.
Vince and Xyriel were the latest housemates to exit Bahay ni Kuya. They received the lowest percentage of save votes during the show's first-ever individual eviction."
'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' airs new episodes on GMA Network on Saturdays at 10 p.m. and weekends at 6:15 p.m.
