Pittsburgh police investigating deadly shooting in Northview Heights
One man is dead after he was found shot inside a home in Northview Heights. According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, just before 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, police were sent to the 100 block of Hazlett Street for a ShotSpotter alert. Once they arrived on the scene, they found the man had been shot multiple times in the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Laron Harrison. Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating and have said they are reviewing security footage.

Students at Pittsburgh Dilworth PreK-5 found with heroin stamp bags
Pittsburgh Public Schools is asking parents to check their children's belongings after they learned about several students being in possession of stamp bags of heroin. The bags are stamped with the words 'Take Off' and were found in the possession of several Pittsburgh Dilworth PreK-5 students. PPS said Pittsburgh Police are trying to find out where the heroin came from and how students ended up with it. Pittsburgh Dilworth families are asked to check their children's belongings and to contact 911 if they find the illegal substance in their items. Man killed in motorcycle crash near Homestead Grays Bridge
A 33-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash near the Homestead Grays Bridge. The crash happened along Browns Hill Road just before midnight near the intersection of Parkview Boulevard. It's unclear at this time what led up to the crash or if any other vehicles were involved.

Police investigating shooting near Homewood House apartments
Pittsburgh Police are investigating a late-night shooting near the Homewood House apartments in the city's Homewood neighborhood. Dispatchers tell KDKA that one person was injured in the shooting that happened along Frankstown Avenue around midnight Tuesday night. It's unclear how badly the person was injured or what condition they were in when they were taken to the hospital by paramedics. Antisemitic fliers spread throughout Squirrel Hill neighborhood
Antisemitic fliers were spread throughout Squirrel Hill. Pittsburgh Police said they have received multiple reports about antisemitic messages being placed throughout the neighborhood. Different versions of the fliers were sealed in clear bags and weighted with kernels of corn. Officers believe this was so the bag could be thrown from a moving vehicle. Witnesses gave various descriptions of the suspect vehicle and the driver, but the most common description was that it was a man with red hair. Anyone with information is asked to call 412-422-6250.
