Streets to close for Sikh Society parade
( —The Sacramento County Department of Transportation and the California Highway Patrol will be closing multiple roads on Sunday, March 23, for the Sacramento Sikh Society Nagar Kirtan parade.
SacDot and CHP will begin road closures on Bradshaw Road at 9 a.m. CHP will provide traffic control with rolling closures throughout the day.

The street closures include:
Bradshaw Road
Vintage Park Drive
Elk Grove Florin Road
Gerber Road
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the Sacramento Sikh Society Temple at 7676 Bradshaw Road going south, then turning right onto Vintage Park Drive.
SacDOT said the route will continue to Elk Grove Florin Road and then turn north.

The last route will be through Gerber Road toward Bradshaw Road and back to the Temple at 5 p.m.
According to SacDOT, each segment will close in both directions for two hours as the parade travels.
Bradshaw Road will close at the beginning and at the end of the parade.
Drivers are reminded to expect delays near the routes.
