Celtic Park Snoop Dogg burger bar plan revealed by rap superstar
The US legend – who has been a fan of Celtic for over two decades –wants to personally serve up cheese and bacon beef burgers to fans at Parkhead.
Rap superstar Snoop Dogg has revealed plans to open a pop up burger bar at Celtic Park.
The US legend – who has been a fan of Celtic for over two decades –wants to personally serve up cheese and bacon beef burgers to fans at Parkhead.
In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Mail, he said: 'There has always been the opinion that food at sports stadiums is never good but that ain't got to be the case.
'People know that Snoop is a cook and I would love to bring a pop up burger to a sports stadium to show fans that food at stadiums can be good.
'It's got to be Celtic Park man, I mean where else am I going to bring it.
'The secret to a good burger is the love in the preparation. The ground beef has got to be mixed with some secret spices, then add a good quality cheese and some maple cured bacon.
'The Celtic fans are gonna love it, and to make sure they are just right, Snoop is going to be serving them himself.'
The Drop It Like It's Hot star, 53, is a massive foodie and has appeared on cooking shows alongside kitchen legend Martha Stewart.
He has also published a cookbook called From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen.
He has also previously told how he wants to open a restaurant in Scotland with Rangers fan Gordon Ramsay – someone he reckons swears more than him.
Snoop – real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jnr – said: 'I have told him I want to open a restaurant with him and maybe it might even be in Glasgow.
'For real – we are always swapping cooking tips and I do mean swapping.
'It's not just one way traffic, I send him tips as well – he respects Snoop as chef.
'My boy Gordon has got a worse mouth than me but that's only because of his passion
However, Snoop – who played Glasgow in 2023 – says he would stop short at creating a signature burger for Celtic's rival Rangers.
He added: 'Am I going to bring my burgers to Rangers as well? Nah, I think we will give that a miss!'

Ramsay, 58, once uttered 312 swear words in one episode of Channel 4's Kitchen Nightmares.

Snoop told Michelin-starred Ramsay he wants to launch a venue together which might even be in Glasgow.
He has also published a cookbook called From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen.
Celtic Park has a history of culinary innovation.
In 2023 Smokey Trotters Kitchen, a popular streetfood eatery based in Glasgow's Barras Market, served up Katsu Fries at the stadium - chips with salt & chilli chicken, cheese, curry sauce, crispy onions and coriander.
Scheme Poutine - fries loaded with haggis, cheese, crispy onions and then peppercorn sauce - also became a favourite with fans.
