Green Bay Polar Plunge® raises money for Special Olympians, invites attendees to jump in freezing cold Fox River
DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – Special Olympics Wisconsin supporters across the area gathered in De Pere on Saturday for a Polar Plunge to raise money while creating chilling, but fun memories.
The Green Bay Polar Plunge® began at the Perkofski Boat Launch at the Brown County Fairgrounds with a noon ceremony and constant jumps into the ice-cold Fox River.

The event was set to raise money for Wisconsin Special Olympics athletes, with some choosing to jump straight into the cold water and raise money. A minimum fundraising goal of $100 earns an official long-sleeve shirt.
