Mondo Duplantis on how Track and Field can continue to grow The arrival of Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track has laid down the gauntlet to track and field events to get creative and rethink their approach to sports and entertainment. That's the view of Mondo Duplantis who has launched his own event for pole vaulting – Mondo Classic – to expand audience interest. Following his star studded Pars Games last year, Duplantis dipped his toes into the world of track and field with a 100m exhibition race against Norway's Karsten Warholm.
