Manipur: Three militants nabbed in Indo Myanmar border
Imphal, June 2 (UNI) Security forces arrested three militants from the Indo-Myanmar Border Pillar No. 87 under Tengnoupal-PS, Tengnoupal District during operations during the last 48 hours.
Police said on Monday that search operations and area domination were conducted by security forces in Imphal West and Churachandpur districts during the last 24 hours.
One each of local made Carbine Machine Gun along with one magazine, Double Barrel Gun, Single Barrel Gun, .32 Pistol along with one magazine, two 7.62 LMG magazine, ammunitions , clothes were recovered from road side of Khumbong Loubuk Lambi Tera Makhong Road under Patsoi-PS, Imphal West District.
In another operation one .303 Rifle with one empty magazine, four Single Barrel Gun, three modified long-range Mortar, two IEDs (03 kg and 01 kg), two Pompi Bomb shell , ammunitions and communication equipments were recovered from Khuangmun under Churachandpur-PS, Churachandpur District.
