Katy Perry's wild act during visit to Melbourne bar after performing four sold-out shows
Katy Perry made a surprise appearance at a gay bar in Melbourne over the weekend as she continues to live it up Down Under on her Lifetimes tour. After performing her fourth and final sold-out show at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night, the US pop star made her way to the 'Poof Doof' LGBT night at Chasers Nightclub on Chapel Street, South Yarra for the official afterparty. The venue was dubbed Club Katy for the night, and the California Girl herself was seen mingling with clubgoers, watching a drag show, taking part in singalongs from behind the bar and even shouting the entire club drinks. 'Because you are my chosen family, a mother must provide for her children,'she told the crowd from the stage. 'So as a provider, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby.' Saturday night marked Perry's last hurrah in Melbourne after playing four sold-out shows at Rod Laver. She will now hit Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide to carry out the remainder of her Aussie dates. Perry also performed three sold-out shows at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena since arriving in Australia earlier this month. Still, her busy work schedule didn't stop her from seeing the sights in the Harbour City. With her mini-me daughter Daisy in tow, Perry visited Luna Park on June 8 with the pair dressed in matching teddy bear onesies for their fun day out, which included a thrill ride on the popular Wild Mouse rollercoaster. Days before she was seen at Luna Park, the singer surprised shoppers when she wandered around Lidcombe Shopping Centre in Western Sydney with Daisy in her arms. Perry was seen browsing at Aldi supermarket before having a look inside Kmart, and appeared unbothered when some fans asked for her autograph. With only daughter Daisy and her entourage joining her for the Aussie leg of her Lifetimes tour, many have wondered why her long-term partner and babydaddy Orlando Bloom isn't in town too. In recent days, there have been multiple reports that their relationship is on the rocks. Over the weekend came fresh speculation that the couple are living separate lives after almost a decade together – and it seems there may be no turning back. 'They're pretty much done,' a source told People, adding that they 'don't really see them being able to turn things around here.' 'It's been breaking down the last couple of months and isn't looking good,' the source added. The reason for the tension is reportedly down to the couple being on different pages, with Bloom said to crave a quieter lifestyle while Perry loves being on tour and seeing the world. 'This comeback means a lot to her. She wants to give fans the best show,' another source told the outlet. 'She's happy and just focused on her tour. Her daughter is with her and they're sightseeing and having fun.'

Katy Perry thanked her fans by buying them all drinks in a bar in Melbourne, Australia. The singer made an appearance at LGBTQIA+ nightspot Poof Doof in the early hours of Sunday morning as she continues her The Lifetimes Tour Down Under. She told the crowd: 'You guys raised me. I thank you and I love you. You are my chosen family. And because you are my chosen family, a mother must provide for her children.' Katy then announced that she would be shouting everyone drinks for one hour. 'So, as your mother, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby. I love you so much. The bar is open.' The pop star had just finished her fourth show at Rod Laver Arena, bringing her sold-out Melbourne leg to a close, when she showed up at the Chapel Street club to share her appreciation for her LGBTQIA+ fans. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Martha Tsamis (@marthatsamis) The sweet gesture comes amid rumors of 'tension' between Katy and her fiance Orlando Bloom. The couple have been at the center of rife speculation during Katy's tour of Australia, and the pop star fueled rumors with a comment onstage. The singer was performing the third of her Sydney concerts when she was handed a packet of Tim Tam chocolate biscuits. During the middle of her performance of her 2008 heartbreak anthem I'm Still Breathing she opened the packet and ate one of the treats. 'This song is about a breakup, and this Tim Tam saved me,' she told the crowd during the brief interlude. 'Thank you,' she added, before launching back into the track while kneeling down and offering the biscuits to audience members in the front row. The comment about suffering through a 'breakup' comes after Katy was spotted looking downcast in Sydney. The singer was spotted looking less-than-enthused as she stepped out at Luna Park with her and Orlando's daughter Daisy, four. On the same day, Orlando seemed to be having a blast at the Tribeca Festival in New York City. The couple's sightings on different continents come amid a new report alleging that Katy's poorly performing album caused 'tension' in her relationship.
