During their pitch, they said they wanted to "disrupt, redefine and breath some fire into the eyewear industry" by selling "stylish, funky and classical eyewear" that is ready in just 20 minutes. It was a hit with many of the biz brains on the panel, with Touker Suleyman, Peter Jones and Sara Davies all agreeing to invest for a four per cent stake. Since then Pop Specs has soared, with them opening up their unique kiosks in shopping centres across Britain. It was announced their latest unit has moved into to a retail hub near Glasgow. Braehead Shopping Centre in Renfrewshire announced Pop Specs had joined their range of stores. Bosses shared an image of the new kiosk and said the brand had opened their thirtieth outlet there. In a post on their Facebook page, shopping centre staff said: "Say hello to stylish specs in a flash! "Pop Specs has just opened its thirtieth store right here at Braehead and we are thrilled to welcome them to the centre. "Dan and Lina, the passionate duo behind the brand, are on a mission to bring fun, fast and affordable eyewear to everyone. We cannot wait to see you." Pop Specs now has four kiosks north of the border. They have outlets in Silverburn Shopping Centre and Buchanan Galleries. There is also one in Livingston, in West Lothian.

Top retailer which featured on BBC show opened Braehead shop
Pop Specs, which is a fashion glasses brand, opened its new 'store' in the Renfrewshire leisure facility on Thursday, May 1. The new location is the company's 30th UK shop. It already has several Scottish venues, including one in Glasgow's Silverburn and Buchanan Galleries in the city centre. In the den, the pair were looking for a £75,000 investment in exchange for five per cent of their business. However, after discussing with the five dragons, they were offered a joint investment of £25,000 each for five per cent of the business each from Peter Jones, Sara Davies, and Touker Suleyman. The glasses business was sparked by Dan and Lina after they met while at university. They then launched their first kiosk in the Trafford Centre in Manchester in May 2020.
