Popmenu joins Oracle Cloud Marketplace to boost restaurant sales

Restaurant technology provider Popmenu has announced the availability of its digital marketing and online ordering solutions on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. The integration allows Popmenu to leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and sync with Oracle Simphony point of sale (POS) systems, offering enhanced efficiency and an improved experience for both restaurant operators and guests. With Popmenu's solutions now accessible through this platform, restaurant operators can benefit from streamlined operations. Online orders placed via Popmenu will flow directly into the Simphony POS, reducing manual uploads and the risk of human error. Menu updates in the POS will automatically reflect on Popmenu and OpenTable, simplifying menu management. The collaboration between Popmenu and Oracle Simphony POS extends beyond order processing. It provides a one-stop, user-friendly online ordering system and consolidates dine-in and online order reports within the POS. Popmenu's research indicates that 69% of consumers engage with takeout, delivery, or dine-in services at least once a week. Oracle customers can utilise Popmenu's interactive menus, custom websites, AI-driven marketing and AI phone answering services to attract both new and returning customers. OCI is designed to enhance application performance while ensuring security and cost-efficiency. It is the only hyperscaler capable of delivering more than 150 AI and cloud services not just in the public cloud, but also at the edge, in data centres and across clouds. Popmenu CEO and Co-founder Brendan Sweeney stated: "Restaurant operators want to remove friction in their ordering process that can hinder productivity and sales. Popmenu's ordering solutions do just that, making sure online ordering is efficient, accurate and easy for both guests and staff. "We're also excited to help more Oracle customers boost their digital presence and overall order volume through Popmenu's marketing platform. CAKE POS and Popmenu link for AI and online restaurant solutions

CAKE POS, a product of Mad Mobile and Sysco's POS [point-of-sale] partner, has announced a strategic partnership with Popmenu, an AI-powered technology for restaurants, to help restaurant operators enhance their digital presence and ease operations. The collaboration aims to help restaurants provide superior online and in-person guest experiences. The partnership's first phase, launched in the winter of 2024/25, provides CAKE customers access to Popmenu's interactive menu technology, a Google-optimised website and automated marketing tools. These features are designed to increase guest engagement and drive higher restaurant traffic. The second phase, expected later in 2025, will integrate online ordering with payment systems to offer a cohesive digital sales management solution while increasing operational efficiency. Mad Mobile executive vice-president for restaurants Bill Lodes said: "Restaurant owners are looking for technology that doesn't just work — they want solutions that make their lives easier while helping them grow their business. "As Sysco's POS partner, we're thrilled to team up with Popmenu to offer an unmatched combination of innovative digital tools and trusted POS technology. Together, we're empowering restaurant owners to stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry." CAKE's exclusive collaboration with Best Buy allows restaurants to receive nationwide installation support from day one. Popmenu chief operations officer and co-founder Tony Roy said: "Popmenu's AI tech was built to help restaurants reach more guests across digital channels in a personalised way, save time and drive profitable growth. "Our partnership with CAKE provides an integrated approach to managing online and in-store operations — making it easy for restaurants to connect with guests and serve them efficiently. We look forward to bringing the benefits of our partnership to even more restaurants." Mad Mobile is backed by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Bridge Bank. It provides digital and mobile solutions for restaurants and retailers, supporting more than 21,000 locations globally. CAKE is Mad Mobile's flagship POS product for restaurants, developed through collaboration with Sysco and industry operators.
