Codi Alert issued for teen last seen near York County apartment complex
A Codi Alert was declared Wednesday for a disappeared teenager who was last seen in York County.
The alert was issued by Virginia State Police on behalf of the Poquoson Police Department at about 11:10 p.m. for 15-year-old Aubrey Michelle Lymon. She was last seen on foot on St. Clair Street, a road that rounds the Belmont at York apartment complex and a small pond.
The alert details that she has brown eyes, black hair, is about 5-foot-2-inches in height and weighs about 120 pounds. She was least seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.
A Codi alert, or a Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative alert, indicates that there is a credible threat to the missing child.
