WANTED: Shreveport man accused of punching woman in the face

DISCLAIMER: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Detectives from the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) are asking for the public's help in finding a man accused of punching a woman in the face on March 31, 2025. Detectives from the SPD Domestic Violence Unit say 32-year-old Deven Pottorff allegedly hit the woman after she refused to let him drive her vehicle. Two parents arrested in Shreveport after teen found abandoned in hotel room Responding officers say when they showed up to the scene in the 1400 block of Natalie Street, they saw a significant amount of blood on the victim's face. According to the victim, Pottorff hit her while he was holding a knife. Investigators say Pottorff has a history of domestic violence, including a previous incident earlier this year and another in 2023. For the March 31st incident, Pottorff is wanted on warrants for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery and one count of Domestic Abuse Battery – Intentionally Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury. Anyone with information on Pottorff's whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
