Mayoress attends Powys Radnor WI County Show at Knighton
Knighton Mayoress Chris Branford attended the Powys Radnor Federation of Women's Institutes Annual County Show.
Held at Knighton Community Centre, the event featured an inter-institute competition with a variety of arts, crafts, and culinary displays.
Judging took place in the morning, followed by lunch from the WI catering team.
The doors then opened for visitors to admire the showcased items and enjoy afternoon tea.
Mrs Branford awarded trophies across seven skill categories.
Aberedw WI and member Gillian Morris were declared overall winners, receiving the County Shield among other awards.
The Federation's own chair, Ann Lloyd of Stowe and Stanage, won the new Beginner Art category.
The event was marked as a challenging but successful occasion, highlighting the diverse talents of federation members.
