FGV Shares Suspended Pending Material Announcement
Trading in the ordinary shares of FGV Holdings Bhd has been temporarily suspended by Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Securities) at the company's request, pending the release of a material announcement.
The suspension took effect from 9am to 5pm on May 26, 2025.
FGV submitted the request under subparagraph 3.1(b) of Practice Note 2, which allows listed issuers to seek a trading halt when a significant corporate development is imminent.
FGV, one of Malaysia's largest plantation groups, has not indicated when the material announcement will be made, but market watchers are expecting it to be released within the day.
The company's shares have been on a downward trend since May 20 and it closed at RM1.28 on May 23 with 645,400 shares traded. Related
