Realme GT 7 Pairs Practical AI With Big Battery—And Doesn't Cost A Premium

Realme GT 7 Prakhar Khanna If the Realme GT 7 Pro was the company's ambitious leap into the flagship arena, its Realme GT 7 is a value flagship. It lacks a "Pro" in its moniker but delivers a rich feature set at a relatively affordable price. The Realme GT 7 is a 750 Euro phone that offers a big screen, versatile cameras, a massive battery with support for super-fast charging, and more, without breaking the bank. It also adds a bunch of new AI features that might improve your user experience. The new Realme phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2,780x1,264-pixel resolution. It's rated to deliver 1,600 nits of high brightness and 6,000 nits of peak brightness for supported HDR content. It is easily visible under sunlight. The Realme GT 7 features an 'IceSense Design,' which adds a thin graphene plate at the back of the phone to better manage thermals. It also offers 'skin-touch temperature,' which is claimed to remain warm in winter and cool in summer. It is easy to hold and offers IP69 dust and water resistance. The GT 7 is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400e processor, which is based on TSMC's third-generation 4nm process technology. It has four Arm Cortex-X4 cores with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz, paired with four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2GHz. Plus, it packs a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU that supports hardware-level mobile ray tracing. The generative AI features are handled by MediaTek's APU 790. Realme GT 7 Prakhar Khanna I haven't pushed the phone to the limit, but in my couple of days of using it, I haven't experienced any heating issues. On the optics front, you get a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera. It supports 4K 120fps slow-mo, Dolby Vision 4K @60fps, as well as 4K @60fps on the 32MP front camera. From my initial use, I've noticed snapping blurry shots because my hands are inherently shaky. However, most shots are decent for the price tag. The Realme GT 7 packs a big 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It's claimed to charge up to 100% within 40 minutes. In my usage, it went from 10% to 50% within 15 minutes. The phone runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. AI Planner feature on the Realme GT 7 Prakhar Khanna I haven't mentioned any of the AI features yet, but the Realme GT 7 packs plenty. Here are 7 of them you should know about: There are more AI features included with Google Gemini models, like AI Translator for real-time text translation or AI Eraser 2.0 for one-click object removal from photos, identifying strangers or clutter. Realme GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition Prakhar Khanna The Realme GT 7 is priced at 750 Euros for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and goes up to 900 Euros for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version will cost you 800 Euros. As for the Realme GT 7 India price, it starts at 39,999 Indian Rupees (approx. $468) for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is more expensive at 49,999 Indian Rupees (approx. $585), while the more affordable Realme GT 7T will cost you 34,999 Indian Rupees (approx. $410).

Memorial Day Deal: My Favorite Travel Laptop Is $200 Off Right Now (and Won a CNET Editors' Choice Award)

I first saw the Asus Zenbook A14 at CES 2025, and I immediately new this would be my new favorite travel laptop. It boasts a 32 hours (!) battery life, a Snapdragon X Plus chipset, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, an OLED display, and it's one of the lightest 14-inch laptops you can buy -- it's even lighter than Apple's MacBook Air. It's no wonder it ended up winning a CNET Editors' Choice Award and Best of CES Award for best laptop. I wasn't completely sold on the price, but the Arm-powered laptop is now on sale for Memorial Day at Best Buy. But you'll want to act quickly since this sale ends tomorrow. This is the first time the Asus Zenbook A14 is going on sale since its launch. My favorite version of it, in the Zabriskie beige color, is available for a discount of $200. As a result, the $1,000 laptop is seeing its price drop to about $800, no special codes needed. If you've been looking for a lightweight, midrange laptop, this Memorial Day sale is your chance to score the Zenbook A14, but note that the sale ends tomorrow, May 26. Why I recommend the Asus Zenbook A14 Prakhar Khanna/ZDNET The Asus Zenbook A14 is one of the best laptops you can buy right now and there are three reasons it's become my go-to device. First, it offers a long battery life, and by long, I mean you can extend it up to two days without needing a charger. I can carry it in my travel backpack without worrying about the availability of a power outlet. In fact, the Snapdragon X variant is only the second laptop CNET has reviewed with a battery life of more than 24 hours, with the HP OmniBook X 14 lasting an hour longer. That brings me to the second reason I like using the Asus Zenbook A14: its OLED screen. The HP laptop lasted longer during CNET's test thanks to an LCD display, but the Zenbook doesn't compromise on its screen to deliver a stellar battery life. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. You get a 14-inch OLED panel with a 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution. It might not be as sharp as the 2.8K OLED screen on the Asus Zenbook S 14, but you won't find another laptop with this combo of 24-hour+ battery life and OLED display in this price range. I appreciate the OLED screen for its excellent contrast and deep black levels. In CNET's tests with a Spyder X colorimeter, it showed 100% coverage of the sRGB and P3 spaces and 97% of AdobeRGB. My only slight annoyance is the thick bezels, which make it a little less immersive than other Asus laptops. Third, the Asus Zenbook A14 is surprisingly lightweight. At just 2.4 pounds, it's the lightest Arm laptop you can buy. And Asus hasn't traded build quality for the lightweight form factor. Its Ceraluminum build is both rigid and lightweight, keeping the weight in check without making the laptop feel cheap or flimsy. Plus, it's scratch, smudge and fingerprint resistant. Things to keep in mind before you buy the Asus Zenbook A14 Prakhar Khanna/CNET Asus Zenbook A14's keyboard offers a satisfactory experience and the trackpad is reliable. The A14's Snapdragon X Plus variant (on sale) is more powerful than the Snapdragon X model, but it isn't built for power-intensive tasks. If you want to use power-hungry video editing tools, this laptop is not for you. The M4 MacBook Air might better serve you for this use. This Asus Zenbook A14 is for those who are always on the go and want an extra-long battery life without compromising on screen quality. It's a great laptop, particularly at this $799.99 price -- and especially if you're looking for an ultralight, ultralong-running laptop for travel. There are plenty more laptop deals going live this week. We've also pulled together all the best Memorial Day deals.
