Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to visit Kuppam for Gangamma Jatara on May 21
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit Kuppam on May 21 to present traditional silk garments to Goddess Prasanna Gangamma, the presiding deity of Tirupati Sri Gangamamba temple.
Government Whip and MLC Kancherla Srikanth, District Collector Sumit Kumar, and Superintendent of Police Manikanta Chandolu on Monday reviewed the arrangements for Mr. Naidu's visit.
The officials reviewed the Advanced Security Licensing (ASL) procedures in view of the Chief Minister's visit, while special teams inspected the helipad setup, barricading arrangements and the sanitation measures at Dravidian University grounds. The Collector and the SP also reviewed the traffic regulations and security arrangements at the Prasanna Gangamma temple.
