BCCI announces schedule for India Women's home ODI series vs Australia
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for India Women's three-match ODI series against Australia. The matches will be held on September 14, 17, and 20 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This series is part of both teams' preparations for the Women's ODI World Cup later this returns to hosting a Women's ODI for the first time since March 2007, when India, New Zealand, England, and Australia competed in a quadrangular series. Harmanpreet Kaur and team power India Women to record-breaking ODI score during match against Sri Lanka Women
The Indian Women's team dominated the first innings of the final clash of the ODI Tri-series against Sri Lanka Women on Sunday (May 11). After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team played a record-breaking innings. They set a total of 342/7 after 20 overs. In the final of the ODI tri-series played at Stadium,Colombo, India Women registered their fifth-highest total in ODIs. Interestingly, it is their highest total against Sri Lanka Women in the format.
