Day after blaze in Mahim, man remains critical
Mumbai: A day after a blaze at a cloud kitchen in Mahim which killed one person and injured seven others, the health condition of one of the injured persons continues to remain critical.
Pravin Pujari, 34, who was rushed to civic-run Sion hospital is in a critical condition, said officials. The blaze comes just three days after the Bombay HC ordered BMC to pay a Rs 50 lakh compensation to the kin of the deceased in the Kurla hotel city Kinara fire of Oct 2015.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Fire Brigade has asked the local civic ward office to carry out an inspection of eateries and cloud kitchens in the locality that are operating without valid permissions from officials. tnn
