This is what it will cost to sign Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool this summer
Liverpool have let Caoimhin Kelleher's suitors know just how much it will take to secure the services of the highly-regarded Ireland goalkeeper. The Reds are prepared to lose the Corkman, who has a year to go on his contract, with Georgia international Giorgi Mamardashvili due to arrive at Anfield to take over as cover for Brazil star Alisson. Manager Arne Slot sees Alisson as his number one for the foreseeable future, so he knows that he has to make room for the man he signed last summer from Valencia. Liverpool loaned Mamardashvili back to the La Liga side as soon as the transfer was done, giving Kelleher the opportunity to feature prominently this campaign. Kelleher made 10 Premier League appearances, a significant role in the club's 20th top-flight title win, and he also starred in big Champions League games, keeping clean sheets against Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Real Madrid. Having played a total of 20 games to date in all competitions this term, the former Ringmahon Rangers man is now on the lookout for regular first-team football. Newcastle United and Bournemouth are two of the clubs that are set to do battle in the chase for Kelleher, while Chelsea's long-standing interest could also lead to their involvement in a bidding war. Liverpool have now made it known that they will not entertain offers of less than €35m (£30m) for the 26-year-old. Kelleher has proved his value time and again in his 67 first-team appearances, playing key roles in two League Cup triumphs, in 2022 and 2024. This season's 10 Premier League appearances equals last year's tally, and he could add to them in Liverpool's remaining games, should Slot give some of his fringe players more game-time now that the title is wrapped up. West Ham have also been linked with Kelleher, while Nottingham Forest were unsuccessful last summer in their efforts to secure his signing. Celtic and Premier League-bound Leeds United could also solidify their interest by bidding for Kelleher this summer. But the one certainty is that Liverpool will not let the man that joined them in 2015 as a raw 16-year-old go on the cheap.

How would you rate Cifuentes' time at QPR?
[PA Media] With Marti Cifuentes seemingly heading for the Loftus Road exit door, now seems like the right time to ask - what do you make of his time in charge? The ex-Hammarby boss's last game in charge was a 5-0 drubbing at home to Premier League-bound Burnley, and the club announced on Tuesday he had been placed on gardening leave. Advertisement Cifuentes, 42, replaced Gareth Ainsworth as head coach in October 2023 and steered the west London club clear of relegation. His second season at the helm has seen ups and downs and several injuries to important players at key times. Last season's 4-0 battering of Leeds United, which secured safety for the Rs and contributed towards the Whites missing out on automatic promotion, was one of the highlights. Fans have regularly chanted his name through good and bad at Loftus Road but Saturday's limp loss to the Clarets looks like it could prove a sad end to his chapter with the club as both sides look set to move on. Should the club be doing all they can to keep him? Or does it feel like the right time for a change? Let us know your thoughts here.

Leeds ready to replace Illan Meslier with international goalkeeper
Leeds ready to replace Illan Meslier with international goalkeeper Illan Meslier has had another tough season in the Leeds goal, and because of this, it is not surprise that he could be replaced during the summer transfer window. He has been dropped in recent weeks by head coach Daniel Farke, but he could lose further prominence ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, and a move away has also not been ruled out by the Premier League-bound club. With three matches to go in the Championship season, Leeds are five points clear in the automatic promotion places – and barring a late collapse, they should be moving a return to the top division of English football. And if they do, there will be even more of an insistence to bring in a new goalkeeper that would give an increased chance of avoiding relegation. Advertisement And Leeds officials now appear to have settled on the player that they feel will give them the best chance of this. Leeds plot summer move for Angus Gunn to replace Meslier Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn (Photo by Rex Features) As reported by Football Insider (via GiveMeSport), Leeds are readying a move for Norwich goalkeeper Angus Gunn. The 29-year-old, who has been capped on 15 occasions by Scotland, is out of contract at the end of the season, and at this stage, he has yet to be offered the chance to continue his stay at Carrow Road. Leeds are long-term admirers of Gunn, who has performed relatively well in the Championship this season. And the fact that he could arrive as a free agent would make him an even more attractive signing in the face of expected Premier League promotion, as it would allow more money to be spent on addressing other issues in Farke's squad. It remains to be seen whether Gunn does move to Elland Road in the summer, but if he is not offered a new deal by Norwich, the chances of that happening will certainly increase.
