Next shoppers race to buy €153 coat now €71 that everyone wants for wet weather
After enjoying an unusually mild and sunny spring, don't pack away your coats just yet as this week's weather forecast looks grim for Ireland. Met Eireann issued a weather warning on Monday as a huge rain system crossed the country, and the outlook for the coming days is much the same.
Wet, windy and cold conditions are expected to stick around - and even if the weather improves later into the summer, with Ireland's famously unpredictable climate, rain is never far away.
This time of year is the actually the perfect opportunity to snap up bargain winter wear as stores clear out their current stock to make way for new autumn and winter arrivals. Shoppers at Next have already spotted a fantastic deal - a coat that's been hailed as rainproof, warm and stylish - is now heavily discounted.
The Premium Long Padded Hooded Coat, originally priced at €153.50, is now reduced to just €71. Available in sizes XS to 2XL, including regular and petite fits, it comes in charcoal grey and khaki green. This coat is flying off the shelves, so if your size is already sold out online, it's worth checking both colour options and fit styles.
Next describes the coat as: "Elevate your cold weather outfits with our premium long padded coat. Crafted from a luxury fabric with heatseal panels, handy pockets, popper and zip fastening as well as a cocooning hood."
Customer reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Many praise the fit and warmth, with comments like: "The perfect fit, colour and size", and "Lovely fit and so warm".
Several shoppers appreciated the quality padding. One said: "Excellent product. A little pricey but it is quality. Had complementary comments regarding the coat.
