Turnbull signs new deal at Tranmere

Tranmere Rovers have extended the contracts of forwards Connor Jennings and Omari Patrick for another season. But club captain Tom Davies heads a list of seven players who will leave Prenton Park this summer. Patrick, 28, finished as top scorer with 13 goals as Tranmere avoided relegation, while 32-year-old Jennings managed five this season. The club has also taken up the option of an extra year for Jersey-born forward Sol Solomon, 24. Defender Davies, 33, has played almost 150 games in the four seasons since he joined Tranmere. He will leave when his contract expires, along with Kieron Morris, Chris Merrie, Luke Norris, Connor Wood, Declan Drysdale and Reuben Egan.
