Carmelo Anthony's Son Kiyan Anthony's Change in Physical Appearance Is Turning Heads
Following in the footsteps of a superstar athlete parent is no small task. We often remember examples of young, emerging talents like Bronny James, son of LeBron James, who are challenged to play in the long shadow set by their superstar parent. Fair or not, we also quickly forget about players like Stephen Curry or Ken Griffey Jr., who far surpassed the sterling careers established by their famous fathers.
The legacy left behind by Carmelo Anthony, the 10-time NBA star and 2003 national champion with the Syracuse Orange, will be a challenge for his son, Kiyan Anthony, to overcome. The 18-year-old basketball prodigy will begin his collegiate career soon after committing to join his father's alma mater in November 2024.
Anthony is preparing for his freshman year and, on Friday, showed off his game in front of NBA scouts at the Iverson Classic workouts. Pictures and videos were shared on social media from the practice and his new and improved physique caught people's attention.

"I can't wait to see him in college he's good be very good 🔥🔥🔥," said one fan.
"That Boy Kiyan Stepped His Shhhhhh All The Wayyy Up!!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾," replied another.
"Boy Got Stronger🔥‼️," commented one fan.
"Look like he been in that weight room too 👀," said another.

"Pace, body control, shoulder bumps, pick and roll, less dribbles, and footwork!!! All this translates! Keep stacking days nephew," read one comment.
"Bro what is he on?? 😂😂," said one fan.
Even the young Anthony shared a comment on the post, saying "reps" about him visiting the gym often.
NBA superstar Allen Iverson curates the annual All-American basketball event scheduled for Saturday at Hampton Coliseum.

Anthony was rated a four-star recruit by On3 and was ranked No. 33 in the 2025 class, the No. 11 shooting guard, and top player in New York.
Syracuse is not viewed to be one of the top programs in college basketball, if measured by early releases of ranking lists. The Orange are not featured in top 25 lists by Fox Sports or ESPN.
