Hazmat team called to propane fire at Kingwood Walmart
KINGWOOD, (WBOY) — Emergency crews are currently on the scene of an active propane fire at Walmart in Kingwood.
Details are limited at this time, but according to an official with the Preston County 911 Center, at about 8:55 p.m., crews were alerted to a propane leak at the Walmart location in Kingwood. Crews on the scene found that there was an active fire and were in the process of putting it out at about 9:55 p.m.
Man sentenced for Memorial Day shooting at Grafton Walmart
Officials confirmed that no one was injured and that the building was evacuated. The extent of the damage has yet to be determined.
Crews with the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department, Reedsville Volunteer Fire Department, Albright Volunteer Fire Department, Tunnelton Volunteer Fire Department, KAMP Ambulance and the Monongalia County Hazmat Team responded to the scene.
