Also, what are the trends in average order value and active customers? A: (Kron Long, CEO) We have been diversifying our supply chain to reduce reliance on China, aiming to be predominantly out of China by Q4. We've negotiated discounts with Chinese vendors and selectively increased prices where competitive. This strategy, along with our test and repeat model, should help us manage tariff impacts. We are confident in our guidance and see opportunities in expanding our customer base through wholesale partnerships and new store openings. Q: How sustainable is the growth in the US, and what should we expect regarding selling expenses with new store openings? A: (Kron Long, CEO) We are confident in sustaining growth through customer acquisition and expanding product categories. (Kevin Grant, CFO) We made progress in supply chain optimization, leveraging selling expenses despite pre-opening costs. We maintain our guidance for selling expenses around mid-26% for the year. Q: With the shift away from China, how do the cost profiles of new sourcing regions compare? A: (Kron Long, CEO) We have focused on partners who can work within our test and repeat model and meet quality standards. Debenhams reduces 'stunning' £199 dress that's 'so pretty' to £55
Debenhams shoppers said they "feel amazing" when wearing the popular designer dress Debenhams shoppers are praising a "stunning" mini dress they've quickly snapped up online. The online retailer is known for offering on-trend fashion and homeware at discounted prices - and one dress might just be a new crowd pleaser. The retailer is selling a designer dress at a very reduced price, giving shoppers the chance to get a high-end look for much less. Debenhams is stocking the Coast Party Sequin Velvet Wrap Mini Dress, which has dropped from £199 to £55. The black velvet dress is available in sizes eight to 18, though it is worth noting a number of sizes are sold out. The retailer has noted online that the product is hand-wash only. For those looking for a new go-to little black dress, ASOS is stocking the Princess Polly satin plunge tie front satin mini dress for £54. River Island also has the Black Textured Halter Neck Mini Dress for £36, while New Look stocks the Black Sleeveless Puffball Micro Mini Dress, priced at £31.99. The full Debenhams product description reads: "Exude elegance and charm in this ultra-feminine velvet mini dress from Coast. The plunging V-neckline and cascading ruffles create a romantic, flirtatious silhouette, while the self-tie belt cinches the waist for a flattering fit. "Pair this dress with strappy heels and delicate jewellery for a chic look that's perfect for formal events, weddings, or special occasions. Alternatively, dress it down with trainers for a more casual daytime ensemble." Online, the Debenhams dress has an overall rating of 4.4 stars. Among the reviews, one person said: "Stunner. Absolutely stunning quality dress. The gorgeous embellishments make it a heavy dress." A second wrote: "Beautiful dress. Gorgeous. Fantastic quality and true to size. The beading details is so pretty." A third added: "Stunning! This dress is so beautiful. It is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. It is fully beaded. I feel amazing wearing this." However, some shoppers did mention issues they'd experienced with the dress, particularly about the fit. While still praising the product, one person said: "Beautiful Dress! The embroidery and beadwork really is stunning and the dress is amazing quality for the price! "Only issue is the cut of the sleeve mixed with the embroidery means it's really tight on the top of the arm - would definitely be an issue if you wanted to throw some shapes. Otherwise though, it's gorgeous!" Another wrote: "Comes up small. Gorgeous dress but comes up small. The skirt is panelled in a way that means it'll go around but the pattern is blocked off with plain black and looks a bit weird / is deviously too small. Suggest buying a size up!" Most of the reviews were positive and some even claimed the dress got them "so many compliments." One said: "Lovely velvet look great beautiful design and worth the money." A different shopper added: "Looks great on. I brought it for my birthday dinner and got so many compliments. I was so conscious of my stomach (I easily bloat) but it hides all sins." A third said: "Luxurious and quirky! I had never purchased from Coast before but when I saw this dress I absolutely had to have it." Another commented: "Love this dress! Stunning! Gets so many compliments. "Fits well, the beading is secure and the sleeves are really voluminous. More than the picture does justice!"
