Springfield residents without power in area of Cambridge Street
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Approximately 750 residents are without power Wednesday afternoon due to an outage in the area of Cambridge Street in Springfield.
Berkshire East set to reopen after Monday's power outage
According to the Eversource Outage Map, the power went out at approximately 2:05 p.m. due to possible equipment damage in the area and initially impacted about 967 customers.
Priscilla Ress of Eversource said that crews are currently investigating the cause of the outage in the Springfield Bay neighborhood. Ress said that around 750 customers in the Cambridge Street area are currently being affected.
Eversource anticipates that once the cause of the outage is fully determined, power restoration will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m.
