More info Danny Dyer has charmed a fresh wave of admirers with his audacious praise for the Scouse accent, often showcasing his bond with daughter Dani Dyer during joint interviews. The father-daughter duo recently engaged in 'Private Matters', a game where they alternated posing challenging questions to one another, with the option to answer publicly or confide the response within their family WhatsApp group. Renowned for his forthright Cockney manner, Danny has been a familiar face on television since the 1990s, appearing in films, TV series, and on stage. His daughter Dani, who was born on August 8, 1996, has recently married West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen. During the Ladbible-hosted game, the Dyers were quizzed on which accent they'd adopt if not their iconic Cockney twang, to which Danny instantly declared "Scouse", a sentiment echoed by Dani. Their synchrony was so spot-on that Dani humorously suggested they should have done a countdown before simultaneously revealing their choice, reports the Liverpool Echo. Danny went on to describe the Scouse accent as "very unique" and "sexy", even attempting to mimic it by saying "murder" and working on the distinctive "ck" sound. After his attempt at a Liverpool lilt, Danny light-heartedly added, "Let's not upset too many Scousers." The Instagram post by Ladbible quickly amassed a slew of comments from amused followers. Ali expressed her adoration, writing: "Just when I thought I couldn't love that man anymore than I do. I'll teach you Scouse any day." Jillian chimed in with a local touch, saying "Well Lad I'm from Liverpool. I agree." Alisha shared her affection too, commenting: "Yes, we love you too", while Martin brought a bit of humour, responding "Wow what great news ! Now I can sleep well at night" and Keith proudly proclaimed "You're all welcome to the Greatest City on Earth." In personal news, the former Love Island champion tied the knot with West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen in a cosy ceremony this past May. Dani's father, who is also an EastEnders actor, had the honour of walking her down the aisle and later shared a tender slow dance with her at the wedding reception. Dani took to social media to reflect on her nuptials, captioning a post: "The best day of my entire life and a day that I will want to relive forever." The soap star had previously spoken to the Mirror about warmly receiving Jarrod into their family.
