First seat allotment list for UG, PG, BEd, MEd courses delayed
Indore: The release of the first online seat allotment list for traditional undergraduate, postgraduate, and NCTE courses—including and for Thursday, was unexpectedly delayed, leaving thousands of students in uncertainty.
Across the state, students eagerly waited for the allotment results to proceed with document verification and confirm their admissions. However, by the college closing time at 6 PM, no list was published. Many aspirants expressed frustration over the lack of updates, especially those who refreshed the portal throughout the day. "I kept checking the website since morning, but there was no clarity. This delay only adds to our anxiety," said Priya Soni, a aspirant from Indore.
Officials from department of higher education (DHE) attributed the delay to technical reasons and said the list was being finalised and might be uploaded late Thursday night. The allotment list is now expected to be available by Friday morning. As per the revised schedule, students allotted a seat in the first round will need to pay the admission fee between June 13 and 18. Registrations for the second round will also begin on June 13 and continue until June 18, with document verification scheduled from June 14 to 19.
The second allotment list will be published on June 24, and students can submit fees from June 25 to 30. This year's admission cycle has seen overwhelming participation.
