Summer sparks shift in Irish nutritional habits, new research shows
A growing number of Irish adults are taking a closer look at their diets and embracing healthier lifestyles.
A new study shows that almost one in three adults (29%) reevaluate their nutritional habits at the start of summer.

Walking remains the most popular form of exercise, with 58% of respondents reporting it as their go-to physical activity.
Nearly half (45%) of adults surveyed believe protein intake is the most important factor in a healthy diet.

According to the research, consumers are increasingly turning to digital resources to stay informed — 47% now rely on online searches to better understand nutrition, while 39% look to product packaging for quick clarity.
This trend highlights a rising demand for convenient, nutritious options and clear information.
