'This was the first deployment of the Department's new Boats and Motors purchased through a Virginia Department of Fire Programs Mini Grant as well as our fundraising efforts. Recent training from the VDFP HTR group paid off today! Special thanks to Lt. Tyler Wright with Bristol, Virginia Fire Department for the mentorship of the team! Community support of willing Volunteers allowed for a positive outcome to an otherwise tragic event! #ProudChief Stay Safe!'
