Emarat Partners with Crypto.com to Enable Cryptocurrency Payments at UAE Stations

Emirates Petroleum Company PJSC (Emarat) and have announced a partnership to enable cryptocurrency payments at Emarat service stations, subject to regulatory approval. Emarat operates more than 155 service stations across the UAE. Under this collaboration, platform will be integrated into the checkout systems at an initial ten service stations, with plans for wider implementation over time. As part of Project Landmark, Emarat's initiative offering naming rights for fuel stations, the two companies will launch the Emarat Service Station at Al Ameen Station on Al Wasl Road. This will be the first Emarat station to feature branding and integrated services. Mohammed al Hakim, President of UAE, said: 'Further enabling the utility of cryptocurrency is central to our vision at The UAE is a cryptocurrency market leader, and we are excited to partner with Emarat, the region's leading petroleum brand and serving tens of thousands of customers every day, in bringing digital assets into its next era.' Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Retail Officer and Senior Vice President for Marketing at Emarat, said: 'At Emarat, we are constantly exploring new frontiers in innovation and customer experience. This partnership with introduces a new era of convenience and possibility for our customers, while strengthening our position as a future focused brand.' The partnership will also include exclusive offers and a joint promotional programme for users and Emarat customers.
